PetKing Weifang Food Industrial Base Officially Put into Production, Building a Trillion-Yuan Pet Food Cluster
The first phase of KIVI Group's Weifang base has been completed and put into production, building a "1+3" industrial system led by scientific innovation and striving to become China's capital of the pet food industry.
Recently, the first phase of KIVI Group's Weifang pet food industrial base was officially completed and put into production, marking a milestone step for PetKing on the main track of pet food. The base is built to the standard of "intelligent manufacturing + green factory + digital twin", and upon full capacity it will form an all-category supply capability covering staple food, snacks and functional nutrition products.
The Trillion-Yuan Industrial Cluster is Taking Shape
Rooted in the resource endowment of the Bohai Rim economic circle and Shandong's status as a major agricultural province, the Weifang base centers around the "1+3" industrial system - with pet food at its core, extended by three pillars of intelligent equipment, biotechnology and supply chain services - building a closed-loop ecosystem from raw material traceability to terminal delivery. The project has introduced fully automatic extrusion, freeze-drying and fresh-food production lines, with the CNC (numerical control) rate of key processes exceeding 90%, lifting product consistency and safety to the forefront of the industry while securing capacity.
"Our hope is to make Weifang the capital of China's pet food industry." A relevant head of KIVI Group said the base will not only serve PetKing's own brand, but also open capacity and R&D platforms to upstream and downstream partners, driving the region to form a trillion-yuan pet food industrial cluster.
